Message i bought 2 hks gt2530 turbos (just turbos) and i was sending (fed ex) to BIG GIXX (tt.net member) to be ported and polished. Right after i sent them the hurrican hit and they were lost in shipping. I only insured them for 2k so thats all im getting back for them. I posted an ad in the classifieds stating that i would like to buy a set of hks gt 2530 or something equal. So i got contacted by a few fellow tt.net members ... one i talked to like 2 weeks back he has a complete hks gt2530 kit w/ under 1k on the it. he is offering them to me for $2750. The problem w/ this is that i already have ALL the gasktes but the Down pipe gasket and also already have the greg d. downpipes for them so I am thinking that I really dont need the whole kit but i was going to buy it from him because that is a really good deal. But later that night (tonight) i am contacted by another tt.net meber over the phone ( a reputable shop which i wont disclose ) and they said they can get me garrett 2530's (just turbos and said that he has put them on about 4 cars already and said there is no modifications needed and that i wouldnt need the braided stainless steel lines that come w/ the hks kit) garrett part number (on the box) 466541-0001 for $2135 to my door. with a 1 year warrenty now what my question was....what is the diffrence between these 2 turbos should i get the kit or just the 2 turbos . and if i get the 2 turbos will i be able to use my stock oil lines like he said or will i have to try and find some stainless steel ones to fit it (which i already tried for the ones i had before and no one will seperate them from their kits) well any help will be useful thankz guys
